2. Urge Urinary Incontinence: Urine leakage with a sudden and intense urge to urinate. The person often misses urine before reaching the toilet.
3. Mixed Type Urinary Incontinence: Mixed urinary incontinence is a combination of symptoms of both stress and urge urinary incontinence.
4. Overflow Type Urinary Incontinence: It is the inability of the bladder to empty completely and leakage of small amounts of urine due to overfilling.
5. Functional Urinary Incontinence: The urinary tract and bladder system function normally, but due to a physical or mental disability, the person cannot go to the toilet on time.

What is Urinary Incontinence Treatment?

Treatment for urinary incontinence varies depending on the underlying causes and the type of incontinence. Some treatment methods are as follows:
1. Lifestyle Changes: Pelvic floor exercises, bladder training, regulating fluid consumption, weight control, preventing constipation...
2. Medical treatments: Medication, medical devices, nerve stimulants.
3. Surgical Treatments: Sling surgery, artificial sphincter, prolapse surgery.

How Long Does Urinary Incontinence Treatment Take?

The duration of treatment varies according to the treatment methods and the type of urinary incontinence. In general, according to treatment methods, it is as follows:
1. Lifestyle Changes and Exercises: It usually starts to give significant results in 3 to 6 months. However, it is recommended to do the exercises for life, preventing recurrence.
2. Medication: The effect of medication varies from person to person. Generally, the medication starts to work within a few weeks.
3. Surgical Interventions: These are usually one-time procedures. Recovery after surgery may take several weeks.
